Verse 1:
Standing stones that speak to me
whispering their history
valleys deep with scattered leaves
through this all the story weaves

echos of the past
memories in stone
the world is turning fast
but this is still our home

standing stones that touch the sky
echoing a raptors cry
shrouded still in mystery
their conversation touches me

standing stones in circles placed
the sun and moon their pathways traced
sentinels of eons passed
speaking of the things that last

memories in stone
may we find at last
the truth we've always known

from violent birth they now are still
